This dance item has used more mask. This mask make wood.Kolam is a kind of dramatic and colorful performance which was
considered to be a very popular traditional dance drama in the Sothern
and South Western parts of Sri Lanka.This dance have more character. There are Arachchi Kolama, Kava Raksha,Naga Kanya, Naga Raksha, Guru Raksha, Surambha Walli, Narilatha, Panchanarigata, Maru Raksha...etc. Animal characters are present in some of the stories. Each of these characters has its own features and costumes.
